Defense Attorney of the Year named

920x920Defense attorney David Bothwell (pictured, center) was presented with a “Defense Attorney of the Year” plaque from veteran defense attorney Wayne Keeney (pictured, left). Bothwell was honored for his representation of Lamont McCrae, who is accused of killing Vonterrell George. In March, McCrae was acquitted of murder, and his jury was deadlocked on a manslaughter charge. A mistrial was declared.
